I was trained on .net, after that I worked in .net and angular for 1 year. I was not interested in working on it so in my next project they took me as a developer but they had requirements for testers so they assigned me a testing team. it was all manual. The project got over I came on the bench was asking staffing partner to give me provide me other work other than .net as I am not interested in it. I asked him to give me testing calls. He said he doesn't have those requirements he can provide .net or powerapps training. I asked himt to give Powerapps training. Now they took a normal interview and assigned me in VB.net project. I haven't worked on VB.net. Recently last month became Associate Consultant not understanding what I should do and what will happen if I don't perform well in this new account. Will they put me back on bench or put in PIP or remove from company?

Focus on learning VB.net quickly. If you don't perform well, you might be put back on the bench or on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). Worst case, you could be asked to leave.
