Trending @Capgemini; To join or not to join CG?

Hi Everyone, I was little hopeful after resigning from Infosys(4.4 yrs) and getting an offer with good hike from Capgemini. Then I started going through the reviews and found Grapevine. I didn't come across a single positive post. I have another similar offer from NeoSOFT but it is a smaller company and it's completely WFO, so what do you guys suggest? Is it really bad at CG right now or can I take a chance and join? Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Bro don't completely trust the reviews on Grapevine. App is primarily made to bitch about their current companies and most of the reviews will obviously bad and this is not limited to CG but others as well

what horizon you are willing to stay ? if you are planning for another switch in probably 2 yrs then go for better role wherever its better.

you are seeing so much negativity for CG because the culture is changing, and recent 2 years increments have been horrible.

Incase you are technically good, confident that can fit in most job profiles related to your tech stack or clear Client interview.
Incase you dont fit willing to upskill to fill the gap..
No issue to join. I see people suffer who has no end to end knowledge ,not able to crack client interviews. Appraisals are same in any org for joined year.. I recommand ..
All the best!!!

Receive a good offer from CG, jitna ho sakta hai utna maang lo, v v imp…

Lots of learning opportunities CG has, you can have certifications. If you are confident in ur tech stack, you’ll get project.

You didn’t mention for which Business unit you’ll be working for? Thats also imp… If its FS then 50-50%, you decide based on your CTC compare with counter offer.

You can ask your manager if possible for WFH for remote projects.

3 months notice period- don’t think of buyout option in CG(happens vry rarely).

And lastly if you decided to join then check appraisal after first year, if its more than 10%, i would suggest stay ow switch immediately !

If you'll be joining a project immediately then it's good, if not, then being on bench will be a waste of your time. Not to mention, the current state of people on bench is not looking so good.
