Trending @Capgemini; TCS just giving 8 percentage hike should I accept or stay with CG. SAP Profile

Dear Viners,

I got an offer from TCS with just 8 percentage hike on top of the fixed component am getting in my current organisation. Considering the present situation should I stick with the offer and resign ?

Considering the below points: 1.) Normally we will think that we can manage a counter offer on top of this and get a better offer. But considering the present situation where the job calls are so rare should this be considered a viable practical option? 2.) In CG even though the present project is very bad but here there are some good projects (especially pertaining to EU regions which is better than the present US situations) which I can try to get in with some serious efforts being put.

How any company can offer only 8 for the change...i think just wait and keep giving interview....at least 20-30% should be there if you are switching...in my pov

No dont accept it for 8%, even after 8% increment in TCS the in hand salary is less than CG's one

Don’t go for TCS stay in CG 8% is not good enough to switch

This makes sense. 8% is not enough.

Leave Capgemini while you have a chance — if you don't, they will lay you off.
