Hello, Can the project or company fire me to extend my sick leave for one more day? I took one day sick leave and haven't recovered hence requested for one more day sick leave will they fire me? Please help as I am super scared and it's affecting me alot

I had took a sick leave for a month and it even got approved.
As long as you have leave balance, no one can question you and no one even questions if its a sick leave for a day or two.
