Trending @Capgemini; Should I resign,or be in my comfort zone
I will complete my 3 years in CG in the upcoming month. Currently I am enjoying over here with almost minimal work in my project 1,2 hours per day max working since 2.5 years in this project. Joined here as a fresher, current CTC is 5lpa. Age 25 M
Reasons why I want to stay
- I like a colleague very much (30%)
- able to save 70 percent of income (20%)
- Manager / teammates are like family here (15)
- Airoli office infrastructure is good (5%)
- work is stress free (20%)
- Has platform for upskilling, though I don't use much (10%)
Reasons to leave
- having stress about life going well (50%)
- feeling left behind if I don't switch (50%)
Do I have a bad mindset? Cause I am really enjoying my life , I have a good home near the office, parents have enough savings. Feels like life is settled. Or should I crave for more?

Bruh you should focus on health and build a good body as you have free time and free mind, once have a strong body then you can use the body to take more stress then you are ready to switch to big level and shine... Meanwhile stay there , don't focus on colleague that you like and work on yourself more and more as you have time, be stronger and then fly away 🕊️

Agreed , I started going to the gym and I am mostly spending on protein intakes only. Thanks for the advice

I am in CG for 6 years now so I think I might be having good experience to answer why you should stay and why you should leave
Stay:
- Family Obligations, if you have any family responsibilities/obligations that you cannot relocate to differ cities
- CG offers good job security if you are consistent and upskilling
- If you love what you are doing now
- Even if you are planning to stay keep giving interviews, you’ll know where you stand
- If you are planning to stay, Make yourself critical in the project create some dependencies on your self and try to get a job offer from outside and use it to get a hike
If they think you are critical and needed for the project and will be very expensive to get replacement they’ll retain and most likely give you hike what you would get outside
Leave:
- Staying in one place for long will put your growth very stagnant
- Staying in your comfort zone will make you very lazy and in future if you try to switch may be with emperor 6-7 years you will find yourself not upto the mark what employer is looking in a 6-7 years experienced candidate
- Most importantly for which we all work for - Money
You’ll feel very underpaid when you’ll see your ex-colleagues or friends with same work experience getting paid double or triple than yours
Unless you get your salary doubled here with retention hike
