Trending @Capgemini; Seeking help with escalating manager to HR over unfair internal mobility

I wanted to share my experience and get some advice regarding a situation I’ve been facing at CG.

I joined CG two years ago at the A3 grade. Due to my performance, my N+2 project manager decided to move me to a more advanced project in December, after several team members left and he needed to fill the gaps quickly.

However, I soon realized that everyone in the new project was at B1 or B2 grade, earning nearly 3 times more than me for doing the same work. When I raised this with my manager, he acknowledged the gap and assured me that my salary would be corrected and brought closer with the rest of the team by April.

Unfortunately, when April came, I was told that this kind of hike wasn’t in line with CG’s policies, and that if I was unhappy, I could leave.

Feeling misled and undervalued, I decided to resign. But now, I’m being overloaded with critical project work and asked to conduct 4+ hours of daily knowledge transfer to my replacement—who, ironically, will be earning three times my current pay. HR has also stepped in to push for a thorough handover as per company policy.

Under normal circumstances, I would ensure a smooth and professional transition. But given how this situation has been handled—especially being promised a salary correction that never materialized—I’m finding it hard to justify the effort being expected of me.

I’m seriously considering filing a formal HR complaint over the unfair internal mobility and broken compensation promises. If anyone here has gone through something similar or can offer insights on how this might play out, I’d appreciate your advice.

Same with me....whatever tasks my superiors get they forward me, but I am the most underpaid member of the team....nothing u can do, u did the best thing to move out...switching , unfortunately is the only way to progress in our line of work....since u have resigned , just do the bare minimum....let the project go to hell...they did not value you...you do not have any liability towards them..invest your time in more productive things..nothing they can do
