Trending @Capgemini; Seeking Advice: Resign First or Job Hunt First?

Hey everyone,

I’m in a dilemma and could use some advice. Many good companies are not considering candidates with a 90-day notice period, which is making my job search difficult. I'm wondering whether it’s a better strategy to resign first and then actively look for a job or continue searching while serving the notice period.

Would love to hear from those who have faced a similar situation. What are the risks, benefits, and key things to consider before making this decision? Also, how does it impact LRP (Last Received Pay) and overall financial planning?

Looking forward to your insights!

It's better to have a job first, resigning is just like not having a job in your hand, you'll feel more pressurized if you are not able to get many job opportunities.... many companies are keeping the offer letters on hold!

I am also having same issue..... Unable to resign first because I am living with family and having financial dependencies. No other income and not much savings to use it if delayed to get offer...
