Working wjth Capgemini at a senior position for more than 2 years. I got an offer from another MNC where I am getting a good hike but my project is ready to match my offer although they are nagging about the variable pay. My current project exposes me to managerial role as well as core technicals for my domain but nothing challenging or worth mentioning.
Since I am in a position of management, should I be considering the retention offer?
What role and designation you are getting at other company, and what's your designation now in Capgemini?
Senior Consultant with C1 band but they'd have to promote me to C2 to match my offer. My role is a tower lead where i am the technical SME for my domain and also the owner/stakeholder of my domain. I manage my own team and face the client directly in my position.
Designation being offered by other organization is unclear to me. I came to know that the band being offered to me is at a minimum considered a tech/team lead ans at a maximum can be considered a manager.
