Trending @Capgemini; Regarding project release

Following the one-on-one meeting on July 3rd with N+2 and N+3regarding the project release, I received verbal assurance of the project release. However, I have not received a formal confirmation via email, particularly after involving HR in the matter. I stopped supporting BAU activities. Now I received a mail from my manager stating that financial and reputation loss for the organization and he his asking me to do support the BAU activity. So if I don't involve in any bau activity what discipilinary action they're going to take against me if anyone have a suggestion please post below?
