Trending @Capgemini; Rant - Appraisals

I have worked in my project for 3 years and gave my 110% working 1000s of hours and having 0 work life balance, But still I did not get an appraisal. And got to know that climbing the corporate ladder here is only possible by AssLicking the managers and leads… and you might even be released from the project if you are not in the good books of the managers. My appraiser did not even give me a feedback on my performance for 3 full years. The work culture is seriously being wrecked by some people and favouritism. I have opted to be released from the project and currently on bench. Hope I find some better team or a better opportunity somewhere else

That's a very common situation for most of us here.... Btw how'd you get released care to share the steps/procedures?

There is this policy where they wont release you for at least 18 months after joining the project. But I basically asked my manager that I am looking to change my domain and would like to be released from the project. As it was post the 18 month period they had to accept my request but still it took a couple of months for me to be released

Earlier this organisation was pretty good in pay increase and for all aspect these days they have changed alot. I really don’t understand why this company not giving proper pay package revision instead of hiring outside people with double pay.

“Management & HR must admit this situation”

Otherwise it will be difficult to run this company .
