Trending @Capgemini; Query regarding project release due to overwork and its effect on endorsements.
I have been working in a project for almost a year now. Even though I am working on second shift I am not getting any shift allowance. My TL works round the clock and expects me to do the same. If i ever say about I did overtime, he says that I was unable to complete the work bt in reality these happens because either he won't tell me about my task until its time for my log-off and secondly he actively asks me to stay up late. However hard I try to make him happy with my work and efforts, he is never satisfied with me. He won't criticise others if they did some mistake or said they don't know anything but when it comes to me he's on fire. He oftens aks me if I want release from the project, if yes he will do so in no time.
This constant criticism and stress is affecting me greatly. I'm considering to take release from this project and going back on bench. But what's stopping me is that - This November end will mark my 1yr in the project, and next month December I am expecting a hike. Now I'm thinking if I take release from the project will it affect my endorsements and my hike.
Please advice what should I do, Should I take release from this project before completing 1yr or should I wait until January and then ask for release.

Overwork and lack of recognition are tough. Immediate release might affect your hike. Document issues and escalate to HR. Waiting until January for the hike is prudent. Start exploring other opportunities.

How should I document my issues? Should I take screenshots of teams messages sent asking to stay after work hours?
Secondly could you please tell me a little how exactly will the hike be affected.

Start sending daily plan or daily delivery task with date time and your comments. So this for 2 weeka for collecting mail as a data. And at last shoot another mail mentioning all issue to higher mgmt and HR and your expectations
