Hi All, I have been facing challenges in my current project, it's been a month. The client is well they don't have anything from me, but the CG side is dull. since I am new, I need KT but no one is giving that proper, not even proper requirement to write code, i always have to sit and do re-work.
Apart from that, my project lead is expecting me to conduct 12-20 interview daily alongside the project.
I had some doctors appointment after working hours which I had to cancel due to them. I had to go from MRI, for that i asked leave they cancelled.
I can't work like this. Is there anyway to get release from the project?
Cancelling the leave requested for medical purposes is not right and acceptable.
Though policy and CG's goal is to help and support people when they need it, most of the time it is not implemented properly due to some people who don't care about others' lives.
You can just use SpeakUP to convey your side and get rid of this situation.
If possible, tell them that you want to get released from the project due to this issue.
They will definitely consider it.
I had a conversation with one HR, the HR said that you need to schedule all your appointment on weekends and dedicate yourself on project.
This too is unacceptable 😏
As already said, though the company has so many things and policies to make our professional and personal life better, people in the position to implement it are not doing it in the right manner.
Nowadays a lot of companies (mentioning the implementer of policies) are like this not giving work life balance.
So, it is better to keep in search for such a good company that provides you work life balance and settle there.

Why this people will not take any action while the people is struggling for project knowledge. instead of providing they will say you have to get it by yourself are they mad? in reality will it work out?
