Trending @Capgemini; Project code is visible but BU is telling to fill in Bench Code only
I joined a new project and got a project code and filled it for this month, but they're telling me to remove the code and fill it in with a Bench code. So what might be the reason for this?
Reach out to your RMG, because they don't want anyone to use bench code, their target is to tag everyone somewhere else than bench.

Maybe you would be in the shadow period, in that case you are supposed to fill in bench code only for 3 months, later the project code needs to be used. Are you fresher or experienced ?
Yeah I have been a shadow resource for 3 months, including this month. But Project code is visible from the middle of this month, so I filled a total of 10 days with the project code. Im a fresher , YOE 1
If the project has already commenced, you are required to consult your manager to understand the rationale behind any changes to your timesheet. Timesheet adjustments should not be necessary if you are billable on the project in question, except in cases where you have been assigned a different billable code. In whoz portal also, it's showing from the 17th billable only, but BU is telling like ur in a shadow resource now after April onwards it's billable like that don't know?
Firstly check with your supervisor, why they are asking to change the Code.Then take an action accordingly. And also check Project tagging as well
