Trending @Capgemini; performance issues-client escalation

I have been working with Capgemini for nearly four years. Recently, my client escalated performance concerns to Capgemini, and I have requested a release from the current project. The client has provided two options:

1. be released from the project, or
2. demonstrate significant improvement in the next sprint. I have the following questions: If I am released from the project, will Capgemini also release me from the company early, or will I need to serve the standard notice period? Will any remarks about the performance escalation or project release be included in my relieving letter?
