What exactly happens on PIP and how long is it ?

I am 100% billable in the Project which i don't like the tech stack at all. The work load is much and i hardly get any time to upskill.

I have talked to my N+1/N+2/ Supervisor that I don't want to continue in this project or this BU. But they have suggested me to apply for IJP and i am applying since many months but not got even 1 call or update .

My performance is good and even i have been getting good ratings/appraisals. It's just that it's not interesting for me and i have started hating this thing and it is taking a huge mental toll on me now..

What should i do now , how should i proceed in this case.?

Can i ask them to put me on PIP?

Context: Currently i m working as B1 in PBS BU. I want to get into AI/ML/Data Engineering/Cloud.

Please suggest me...

Don't ask for PIP. It's an Unofficial layoff in CG. Even though the Employee is doing 15-20 hours work, they will make some points against you and at the end will ask you to resign. Just search outside and leave this toxic place.

I just need the time to study and upskill. Being in the project i am not getting time at all.

I just need 3-4 months of time.

Incase of PIP when they tell to resign we still have 3 months notice period ?

Even if i resign now i have 3 months notice period and they still would give me work and I won't get the time to upskill
