Trending @Capgemini; On Notice Period – Need Opinions
Hey folks, I’m currently serving my notice period, and I’ve got just one week left before my last day.
Now, I’m reconsidering things, thinking of withdrawing my resignation. Has anyone here gone through this?
Do companies usually allow resignation withdrawal at such a late stage?
What are the chances HR/management would approve it?
Will it be seen positively, or could it backfire?
Would love to hear real experiences and advice 🙌

Why do you need to withdraw resignation?

I wasn't in the good project. There was no clarity at work, and I was not getting released from my current project. Even there was a skill mismatch. So i had resigned. I want to stay with CG for some more time due to personal reasons. I'm 6yoe in QA

You are not holding any offer currently?

I can relate to your situation please reconsider your priorities and think deeply what matters most to you at this situation. Is it your job that you want to stay ? Even if you stay here will you be happy or else look opportunities outside

Yes 🙌 thanks 👍

Withdrawal option is there. I had withdrawn a day before my last day. The omly cath is that you need to be there in project, you project should confirm your billability for next 6 months to HR and you competency should also approve

If you are on bench and you are not greting by lwd then they will not approve.. if you are billable and will be billable till next 6 months then only they will approve. Happened with my team member , he was not billable, he withdrawn his resignation but it was not appovdd so he had to go.

Don't try to stay just look for new opportunity outside of CG

Then why are you not finding any other jobs or projects? You have dug yourself a big hole buddy. You should have utilised your NP to get another job.
