Instead my original base location office I wanted to punch in at another capgemini office which is nearer to my hometown, is there any procedure for it or will it take into account if i normally go & punch in at this new office ?

There's no procedure as such, you can directly go to that location and punch in. One of my teammate had travelled to a different state for some personal reason, and she was visiting the office present in that state and her attendance was getting marked as usual

Yup but still my frnd had visited an another office at same district & he got mail that he visited an another office which he didn't have access.
