Trending @Capgemini; Notice Period Fiasco

I resigned from capgemini, first week of April and was planning to get an early release. Did my work with utmost sincerity but when I asked them that I won’t be able to work after this date in May, the HR and the manager got so rude and started threatening.

I don’t know how to get out of this shitty organisation but if I’m not able to leave on my desired date. I wanna make the remaining days hell for my manager and the BU.

I wanna make them regret every second.

I need some suggestions, what all things I can do?

I’m on a billable client project and my manager begged me to not tell the client about my resignation.

This 90 days NP is a trap guys. If they gonna fuck my opportunities, I wanna fuck them back.

Happy to hear your thoughts

Step up and think again!

What if it was your organisation and you had a resource on whom there was dependency and who resigns and doesn’t want to serve the notice period and doesn’t want to give you enough time to find a back up, how will you feel ?

There is a reason the notice period exists, we are professionals, let’s act like one!

Btw, there are exceptions as well in the policy. If you are going for studies, moving abroad or medical situations, an early release will be approved.

I am going for higher studies will they approve my early release? No HR has contacted me yet .. should I contact them or wait for them to contact me ?? I have put papers

Yes they will approve. Do not wait, reach out in a written email to your HRBP and CC your N+1.
If there is no response, Loop in the N +1 of your HR BP, wait for two days. If no response again loop in N+2, 3 and so on!

Search for policy as well - it’s written in that.

@mildlyclassic it is not about me loving the company, it is simply about work ethics.

There is a policy which we agreed to while signing the offer when we joined - so why the fuss now?

I have been in this situation and handled it in a much mature way, I believe.

They also mentioned about the buy back clause in the offer letter. Why are they denying it now.

If you have handled such situations, you could’ve guided me. Instead you chose to make them the victim lol

I was only guiding man - you need to take a step back and re look at things.
