17moTrending @Capgemini; Notice Period buyout request with loss of pay is rejected even if I’m on bench
I am on 100% bench currently and I have 60 days of notice left to serve as of now. But I need to reduce it by 22 days to shift to a different organisation. I have requested BU HR saying I will pay for the days I won’t be able to serve during notice period. Even after all that, I am being rejected of the request.

If your request is rejected, it means the company needs you to serve the full notice period. Try negotiating again or seek help from a senior manager.

This negotiation has been happening since August end. They don’t want to leave me early and want to pay from company’s pocket without any work to do for 60 days. Only reply I get all the time is you need to serve 90days notice.
