Trending @Capgemini; No Work at Project and cant leave the project

Loss of talent loss of time and loss of experience…

I am working with this ABC client past 1.5 years, since 5 months there is no work at client but I cant release my self and CG do not have other projects at the moment.. Should I take the risk and get released from project and go back to Bench or should I just wait for client to release me…..

Kindly advice.

Don’t hit bench, continue to learn, wait for completion of 18 months in the project (which is very near).
Once done, start applying for IJP as you will be eligible and you don’t have to inform or take approvals from anyone.

Once selected, they will have to release you in 45 days - no one can stop!

IJP is internal job posting. There are regular emails which come and which mentions all the requirements which Capgemini has and for which they are looking for people internally. The eligibility criteria is - you should have completed 18 months in your current project and you should be able to clear the interview
