Trending @Capgemini; Need Suggestions from Fellow Professionals 😊
Hi Connections,
I’ve decided to resign from Capgemini, tentatively planning my last working day as 31st May, after this month’s salary gets credited. I’m moving forward without an offer in hand (taking a bold step 😅), but before initiating the formal process, I have a few questions and would love to hear your thoughts or experiences: 1. Office Attendance (BTO Rule): Since I’ve mentally prepared to resign, I haven’t strictly followed the BTO (Back to Office) rule. I’ve gone to the office only 5 days so far this month and might go 2 more days. Will this impact anything during the exit? 2. Absence After Putting Papers: Once I put down my papers, if I don’t go to the office for 10–12 days, will it create any issues? (I’m currently on a billable project.) 3. Leave During Notice Period: I have 28 leave days in my balance. Can I take leaves after resigning? If yes, how many are usually allowed during the notice period? 4. Leave Encashment: If I don’t take the leaves, how is the leave encashment calculated during full & final settlement? 5. Resignation Without Offer Letter: Since I don’t have an offer yet, how should I resign in a way that leaves room for me to withdraw the resignation if I change my mind?
I’d really appreciate insights or suggestions from anyone who’s been through this. 🙏 Feel free to drop a comment or DM. Thanks in advance!

- BTO is exempted for those who are on notice period, this is what told by my manage and i did not face any issue and received experience as well. Please check with your manager on safer side.
- No issue, but also check with your manager to be on safer side as it may vary from project to project.
- You can leaves during notice period based on the leave availability and it will not impact your LWD.
- Maximum of 30 leave can be encashed remaining will lapse.
- Discuss with your manager, there is option to withdraw again it depends on your project whether they want to keep you or not
