Trending @Capgemini; Need project apply suggestions

Currently on the bench, been trained 2-3 months ago(Java Spring Full stack), applying for projects, Heard a few seniors tell that it's hard to get into the project, so freshers are mostly taken into non development support roles as no company likes to give code to freshers at start.

Speaking of me, I am good at tech, I would say capable of working on any kind of tech.

So there is an opportunity in front to get into such a support based project, Can someone tell me what kind of work it would be, would it be code analysis and fixing or call center kinda work? (ikya) Is it the right thing to do? Or should I wait longer and apply for development based ? If i get into it, will it hamper my growth ?

If you say you are good with tech . Don't take any other roles except the one you want .
Because if you are good with tech there is nothing to fear , stay on the bench if they ask to resign, being good will definitely fetch you work .
