Trending @Capgemini; Need ideas for getting wfh for longer period of time

Hello folks!

As we all are aware about 12 days a month wala policy. Is there a way where we can get complete wfh for atleast some months.

I know I know, it depends on project, etc etc, I am trying to find new ideas for the same, something that might be workaround or may be other ways!

Also, since this time to I was not eligible for hike (joined in 2023) I think, for the next year, its a lot of time, the year has just started, so maybe I will cover some days to office in next part of the year.

Got any ideas, pls share!

Heard of this idea somewhere too.
But what about medical reports? And how long they will approve for the same?

Yes you need the medical report and they will give you for 3-4 months

Hey, I like my work and been only 10 months that I joined.
Everything is good, except going back to office.
While I appreciate your effort to give me best possible solution, I am looking for something to find reasons to not go to office :)

Thank you 😊

Hello , please don't believe any alternate reasons for wfh , even if you are not visiting office no one can reach us in Capgemini, at time of midyear review and final review simply they told you are not eligible to hike due to office hours compilation.Thats it.

Get approval from client for wfh and share with manager and HR

Good suggestion! But my counter question:

  1. Since I am on CG payroll, and its CG policy to go to office, why would I need to take approval from client? And even if client approves, CG people might say its our policy why to involve clients. Moreover, my client doesn't care of you work from offc or home or mountain for that matter, all they care about is work needs to be done properly and on time :)

  2. Have you came across any scenario, where this was done? And what was the result of that? Also, on what grounds client approved work from home?

I have done this for myself
