Trending @Capgemini; Need Advice........
Hi everyone, I wanted to share a bit about my current situation and seek your advice.
I joined Capgemini in December 2023, completed my training by April 2024, and then started working on a project in August 2024. I've been with the same project since then, and I've been consistently delivering great results. I've received Exceptional rating and several appreciation emails from both the client and our CG Manager.
However, the promotion cycle in my project is a bit different. While others in different projects received promotions in July, only one person was promoted in my project, that too not from my team.
I didn't receive a hike or promotion. When I spoke to my manager, he assured me that I'm a valuable resource and that he's trying his best, there are some changes in the policies apparently but he mentioned that the next promotion cycle will be in December, with the actual hike or promotion happening around March 2026. Additionally, there's a colleague who joined at the same time as I did, and he's also in line for a promotion, so it seems they can only promote one of us at a time.
This situation has made me feel a bit demotivated, even though I love my work and I'm passionate about what I do. I'm looking for some guidance on how to navigate this situation. There are many things going on in my mind, I don't know what to do and how to deal with all this.
Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated.
Thank you so much!

They are fooling you, they can promote multiple people at a time, even if they want they can give promotion at any of the quarter....

I know... It's all in their hand and they are not even being honest about it.
That's why it's more scary to me. I don't know what to do next... I should look for the switch right? There is no other option?

Switch, I was in the same situation its all empty promises

Hey,
I am facing the same conditions like you. But I got promoted last quarter and they gave 4% hike. So promotion doesn't even matter much.

Hard work is a joke in capgemini! Please understand and pack ur bag
