I've been with Capgemini for 2.5 years, and this is my first job after graduation. Initially, I was really excited and my first two projects were great—I enjoyed the work and learned a lot. However, when I was assigned to my third project, which had a completely different tech stack, things started to go downhill. I tried my best to adapt, learned the new stack, and showed steady progress, but I was constantly under pressure.
Despite my efforts and working extra hours, I never received any appreciation. Instead, I was heavily criticized, both behind my back and sometimes right to my face. This constant negativity really affected my mental health and enthusiasm for the job. My health began to decline, and even after raising the issue with HR, nothing changed. It became clear that HR was just following the project manager's orders, offering no real support.
What I've learned from this experience is that it's important to stick to the tech stack you're confident in and master it. The IT field isn't as bad as some might say—many companies are great, but a few bad leaders can tarnish the experience. Unfortunately, I had to report to such people. Also, HR is not always there to support you as they should, no matter how much they promote 'Fun Fridays.'
My advice is to focus on your work, but don’t burn yourself out. If you're stuck in a toxic situation, don't hesitate to move on. There are countless companies out there that will value your skills and talent. And remember, being a manager’s pet won’t help you grow—focus on learning and keep your career progression in mind.
With this I'll be signing off from CG and moving on with my life!!! :)

Even i am facing same issue , where i am not able to manage project. How can we reach out to HR?

Try explaining your situation to the people's manager first he might help you get in touch with the HR..... Tho honestly speaking HR's won't do shit to help you out!
