Is he really that unaware, because some people got raise in my project. Or is it the manager only who recommended names. P.S I got exceeding rating. And people who got less rating than me got a hike.
Depends on your BU/practice. In my practice only the senior Director (E1 grade) knows the actual hike % for direct/indirect reports. Most managers can only enter a hike recommendation in GetSuccess when doing the year end review for their team. Actual numbers are decided by HR and BU Head (E1 and above).
TBVH I think my senior director is completely unaware of things we are working on. And wdym by saying hike recommendation, is it different from rating? Can the HR know if my manager has suggested hike and is it confidential or the HR can reveal that info.
