If you connect he will get to know you but how much anonymous is these kind of surveys I doubt .

If you really think your mentioned issue will be sorted after discussing with the VP, go ahead. But you can also discuss on that same pulse thread, just let your VP know you would prefer to continue here rather than Teama

You can try to connect but keep an offer letter with you on the side

Okay so this is common to receive such comments from VPs or seniors..

Below are the reasons

1. your pulse comments are visible to n+1, n+2, n+3 also so they try to connect at times
2. VPs & SDs are given KPIs to improve pulse score by HR team, so they have to connect with all the comments below 5 rating or something to satisfy the person so that in future they provide good ratings.. Don’t be too hopeful

All in all there is nothing wrong in connecting or they knowing who you are.. stop listening to people here who give all gyaan with all the assumptions without knowing anything
