Trending @Capgemini; Misbehaviour of newteammate

Hi everyone,if new teammate doesn't behave properly raise his voice and disturb you all the day for the questions which are already in the kt.If I have escalated for this reason to my manager and he has escalated to his n+2 then what will happen?

Ask for the reverse KT and make sure you also ask the same question in reverse KT.

Do you have any idea if the manager escalated him to his n+1 what will happen?

Don't be scared of escalations. You seem too bothered about it. If you are an older employee and your past on these things is really good, the scale weighs in your favor.

Just make sure if you are escalating or complaining - just double sure they don't come at you saying you're not cooperative/not a good sign who can lead a team - these higherups will try all kinds of idiocy if it's upto them. Don't take the role of a babysitter. Ask this person who annoys you, to write all the queries in a excel and to send it to you - psychologically a sane person will think twice while framing it, if they are genuine - Answer them, you may be set 5-10 mins in your day to solve your team's query and let them know this way they can get their queries solved, and come prepared with their list if questions. And reverse KT sounds nice. Tell them to exhaust all options google/chatgpt/official documentation/their brains before coming to you. If you are leading a team, you can try above + also create a separate group chat for queries - sometimes instead of you entire team can collaborate - if it's groupwide query you can address them by jumping on a call. I believe if queries are genuine or they just want to learn I try to unblock them - it should not come at the expense of my time where my work gets hampered. All these shows your people skills. Now you have tangible skills to bring during performance reviews or the next interview or shove to management's face if they ever say what you even bring to the table or why deserve the promotion or pay rise because of ALL the work you do! Plus this is good for you, generally we won't remember ourselves if we helped somebody, but may come handy to show that you indeed are a worthy asset to be paid. EVIDENCES, ALWAYS KEEP IT EVEN IF YOU FEEL IS UNNECESSARY!

Nice suggestion.I have call logs and a team message that we connected daily. Write queries in excel is a nice idea.If next time he will come to me na,I will ask this thing to do

Some people are like this only irritating, useless questions, disgraceful. Simply don’t try to have more friendly with them . I’m your situation you can also talk to n+2 along with n+1
