Capgemini has an organisation's wide Hybrid policy to work from the office for 3 days a week or 12 cumulative days in a month. The visions are set by the top management and people below are ruining that by forcing people on the bench to work from the office every day. They don't stop there.. we need to be on video call where everyones name will be called and you report as "I'm working from the office". Is it a crime to be in bench or is it employees fault to be in the bench? When a policy is there how someone can force people like this. There are ways where we can monitor and get productivity out of bench people, but this is very worst!

I have faced the same. If we get bench period We are expected to visit 9 in office everyday. Worst part was you need to be teams online and receive anytime they video call you in those 9 hours, plus no more than 30min of lunch break… worst bench policy ever

It’s really disappointing n disgusting , May be they want bench people to resign voluntarily because of this torture as they might not want blood on their hands

Even if they opt for resign then they are asking to serve 3 month NP . What is the purpose of asking bench ppl to serve 3mnth NP

Benched employees have been forcefully asked to resign in Capgemini Kolkata. And the bench has happened due to project rampdown and cost cutting. It is not for employees performance issue. Evertime they call for a meeting to harass the employees being on bench. It feels like crime has been conducted from the employees end. Very disgusting work culture in Capgemini BPO US processes!

Its worst! Its designed to make people suffer in different ways . 1. By not giving enough salary to deserving candidates 2. By not giving any promotion n recog. etc. 3. By micro/ nano managing the employees.
One of my old very talented colleague left the org. due to same reason n they don't care. They ll still not increase your salary. Worst company to be in. time to leave if u can.
