Trending @Capgemini; Mandatory TownHall in festival week - Hyderabad

Anyone from DCX BU here?. What is your opinion on management planning this townhall meeting on 30th September for Hyderabad location which falls under Bathukamma/Dusshera festival week. And they are saying it is mandatory to attend this meeting otherwise we might get escalated. Why do they plan such mandatory meetings without any proper prior notice to the employees that too in a festival week of the region where everyone might have already planned their week with family at home. If it is all work from the office then they might have this right, but when it is hybrid and they have communicated us to choose any 12 days a month or 3 days a week they should not ask us to attend anything mandatorily without proper planning ahead.
