Trending @Capgemini; Layoff Scene in Capgemini due to wfo non complaince
Hi Everyone, Did you heard about the discussions that whoever doesn't comply with wfo in Capgemini? Will be laid off? Is this true? Also, what is layoff common in Capgemini?
I have recently joined Capgemini How risky is this to be non complaint for wfo in new joinee case.
Don't understand why people don't want to visit office. They are not asking us to report for the whole month, it's just for 12 days. Even if you're not able visit office for 12 days for some reason, then atleast try to do it for 8-10 days. It's better to report then worrying about such scenarios.

We are indeed just "visiting" the office. Many people just come for a couple of hours to maintain those 12 days. There's no point in that. Office is good only if the team is together, even if it's just 1 day a week. Besides, WFH works great for a lot of people including the company. Still don't know why the organization is forcing us!

Layoff chances are less due to non compliance but once you get the warning mail, better to visit the office to avoid disciplinary measures.

People who work in rotational shifts face challenges with the 12-day office policy. In most projects, there are fewer resources available for support, especially during night shifts, making it difficult to complete 12 days in the office. The company should reconsider this policy and allow remote work, considering the nature of shift-based roles.
