This is my first company and I want to switch the company as I did not get any appraisal for last year. I don't want to resign and search for jobs as the Job market is not good. I request people who have done a job switch to share some insights on job switching. I have updated my naukri profile but get no call due to the 90 days notice period. Please suggest a way to get a job offer without resigning?
First check your interview readiness..like putting a serving notice period on Naukri and giving interviews for companies you don't intend to join( or join if they are ready to wait 90 days). If successful in cracking some interviews, go ahead and put 2 months notice period and attend interviews. You will be able to crack some. Then put down papers and keep attending interviews. It's a tiresome and lengthy process but you will succeed. "This process is solely for the people who cannot risk putting papers due to responsibilities". Rest can put papers and start attending interviews(caution: keep your emergency fund ready, in worst case scenario)
