Trending @Capgemini; Is there any way to get permanent wfh.
I really need wfh as the salary does not support the cost of living and also my parents need me as they are above 60. Will the company even consider all this? I am okay with not getting a major percentage of hike or promotion.

I don't think there is a permanent wfh policy, but if conditions are favourable like you have good tuning with the manager and supervisor, no team members are present at your location etc you can wfh.
Even for that you need a valid reason. And even if WFH is permitted, I don't think it will be permanent, at max maybe for few months

I gave the valid reason right? No team members are present at the location what would I do going to the office, it's the same thing as working from home.
Personality I will resign if they will force me to WFO

There is no possible thing for permanent wfh. I suggest you transfer to the nearest CG location to your home town. And you can mention the factor of parents health and you will be able to get the transfer . if you don't like this idea.. try searching for companies providing permanently WFH.

Still minimum travel that I have to do is 7 hr. And I am already at the nearest location.

Brother, then you are asking for too much. Max of the employees have same situation but company can't give WFH permanently. Somewhere we have to understand as well.

Not possible... This issue is for all

How much is your salary? There are economic options to stay here in Blore...what's the budget you can allocate ?

I will be embarrassed to even tell the range of my salary but according to my experience I am getting very less compared to my colleagues with the same experience in the same company. This might be because my tuning with the manager is not that good as I cannot do the pampering or fake sweet talk.

Talk to HR

WFH will not be allowed except in case of exceptions and that too you will have to get it approved from your manager. Although you can opt for location of your choice if your manager is ok with it. You can go straight 12 days and then back to hometown. If you have office in your hometown then you can go to office at 8.30 and come back in couple of hours. Leave taken is considered as a WFO but that too 60% So if you take 3 days of leave 60% of it is 1.8 days so 2 days of that 3 will be considered as WFO

We do have few projects which provide wfh opportunity
