Trending @Capgemini; Is the 2 year service bond still applicable?

Hi, I joined CapG about 8 months ago and I'm still in my shadow period. I'm considering switching to a different company where I can learn something. While joining Capgemini I was asked to sign a 2 year service bond but recently I've heard from many of my colleagues that the bond is no longer applicable. I haven't received any confirmation email about the bond being removed and I'm confused whether I should put my papers. I've spent so much of my salary just to live in the base location, and I don't have the money to break the bond if it is still applicable. Can anyone confirm if it is uplifted for freshers too? Any suggestions on whether I should resign or not?

You can check this with your BU HR.

I didn't want to let them know that I'm planning to leave.

Last year the bond thing got dismissed for all over Capgemini, you can put the papers without any issue

Since u have already completed 8 months ask HR tat u need to quit and what is the process … they might not ask u to pay the whole bond amount … in case if ur getting good package outside u can switch … u can ask them to deduct the rest of the bond amount from ur final settlement or in few cases they’ll cover that with the leave encashment etc .. talk ur hr for further process
