Hi everyone, I’m currently working as a Data Engineer at Capgemini, which is my first company. I have 4 years of total experience and am currently at B1 level with a CTC of 6 LPA. My primary tech stack includes Azure Data Factory, Python, SQL, PySpark, and Databricks. I’d like to understand whether this is a competitive package given my experience and skills, or if the current market offers better opportunities at this level. Would really appreciate your insights and guidance—thank you in advance!

I think 6 lpa is a bit low for 4 yoe for a data engineer, which is one of the most in demand and emerging career option nowadays. You should try switching the company, you can easily get 10-12 lpa with your current exp and tech stack.
