I have been working as a SAP Basis consultant at CG for the past 1.8 years. In the current project, our team consists of only four members, and we operate on rotational shifts. I am assigned to two weeks of night shift every month, during which I am the sole support provider for the project. Due to the lack of backup resources, I am not allowed to take long leaves (more than one day). I have not reported to the office since I was assigned to this project. But now CG is very strict about hybrid work policy, I am exempt from this during my night shifts. However, I no longer wish to continue in this project or technology because maintaining a work-life balance here is a joke.
I am aware that CG offers opportunities to change domains or restart a career by applying for internal job postings. I am eligible to apply for it since I was promoted to A5 last month. Does this internal job posting system really work? Has anyone successfully applied through it? If not, I do not want to waste my time here any longer, waiting for "Get the Future You Want.""
