Yes. They will terminate you if you are experienced. Many of my friends who joined with me got terminated because they didn't get the project within 5 months. Only one month they give as a notice period

It is indeed happening (may be not for freshers, but for experienced people - yes) that is what i have heard and observed off late. I hope you are compliant on BTO and office hours along with any other organisational mandates?

They might not terminate you immediately, but it's good to stay proactive. Upskill yourself and keep looking for projects internally to increase your chances of getting off the bench.
