In cg , waiting period is more, 5-6 years same managers then can expect some thing. You should be loyal n these days and zero escalation, on time deliverables, supporting your team, supporting to managers or leads work with no hesitation. Your name should be visible or known to others in management. So that you can get some promotional hike!
This clause is applicable for those in C grades. Lesser than C grades they get easily 8-10% hike with their n+1 easily.
Always expect the unexpected!!! Be happy if project is not stressful or else switch accordingly. All the best !!!

You're looking for salary hikes in the wrong place. Service-based companies aren't structured to provide substantial raises, as employees are often viewed as easily replaceable.

Forget CG and think about other companies 😅

Switch or if you think you are critical for the project resign they’ll retain you with higher package
