Trending @Capgemini; Hypocrisy Unveiled: Capgemini's Double Standard - Hiring and Firing in Circles
The Hypocrisy: Capgemini is hiring new employees. 🤯 What's the logic behind laying off experienced employees due to a lack of projects, while simultaneously bringing in fresh faces? Are new employees being hired for non-existent projects? Is Capgemini planning to bench these new hires as well, repeating the same cycle of stress and termination? The double standard is glaring. It's clear that Capgemini's layoff strategy is not about project availability, but about charging clients extra for employee costs. When clients refuse to agree to rate hikes, the company releases the employee from the project and lays them off, exploiting and discarding them at will. But here's the kicker: the rate hikes aren't even passed on to the employees. Instead, it seems Capgemini is pocketing the extra charges, lining their own coffers at the expense of both clients and employees. The question is, what's the justification for charging clients more if the employees aren't seeing the benefits? It's nothing short of profit-driven exploitation.

Sad part is that the anual salary for 3 years of experienced employee is 4.8 LPA and they are giving freshers package of 5-7 LPA. Not just Capgemini i have talked to my other friends from different companies situation is same IT sector is becoming toxic day by day

That's why you switch

Well yes, Capgemini is laying off silently. I've been asked to find a new project by the current Manager. I just joined this project 3 months back. Even after client appreciation, I am being told that there is a performance issue. So instead of putting me on PIP, they want me to search for a new project.
I'm sure I'll find one soon.
