Trending @Capgemini; How to change project?

I have joined CG in June 2025 and got the project in July. During project tagging, my manager told me it's of implementation+ support however since last few months I have realised it's a pure BAU role with no learning and growth. Even my existing skills are not getting utilised so I asked my manager to give me release.

Firstly they said I need to spend at least 18 months in account but then I shared my career aspirations and role mismatch due to which now they are saying they can release me only when my backfill is in place without giving any stringent ETA.

This is getting worse day by day and I'm getting frustrated for not getting good work as per my skillset. Please suggest if I should wait for them to release me or putting papers is the only option?
