Trending @Capgemini; How can I transition from SAP to Data Science/AI/ML within Capgemini?
Iam currently working in SAP(B1)for 2.5 years at Capgemini and would like to transition internally to a role in Data Science, AI, or ML. What are the steps or internal opportunities available for such a switch? Are there any upskilling programs, certifications, or internal job postings that I should focus on to make this transition smoother?
It's not common. So not that simple. But try to upskill yourself extensively so that you can clear the interviews. Also try to build some mini projects etc for advantage. Then try to convince your N+1 and the Supervisor citing why it's important for you. They might help you if they are good people. Otherwise, simply change the company.
I don’t think it’s possible as some people from my team also tried but they are saying your BU Should be same then only IGP u can do.
