Depends on the cause and level of escalation. Minor escalations are okay. Also depends on client and how the managers deal with the situation.

If escalation is minor then nothing will happen, PM will take care of it but if escalation is major then you will be released and will put on pip or not depends on your skill set and how soon you will be able to get next project

Just tell cause of escalation so that we can say
