Hi everyone, This post is to share today's incident, Is CG IT support functioning or not ?? I had raised a ticket regarding network connectivity yesterday and pinged the person who has been assigned to perform the task ,but he didn't reply anything but messages are left seen , and today morning i received the mail that the ticket was on hold but he mentioned me as an inactive person so it was on hold , so today i sent an mail with his manager in loop and for that too i didn't receive any response and the problem is still un solved , What's your thoughts on this ?? What should I do next ??

Just Focus on getting the work done. A delay in response doesn't mean it is intentional. Normally the service guys are assigned multiple tickets at once but they work one ticket at a time due to many reasons. Think of it from a human being pov. 🙂

I respect their time and work, but I didn't receive any response from the team and my messages are seen zoned , whether they should respond or should schedule the time to resolve the issue, right ? It made me think intentionally.

Actually these IT support guys have so much attitude they think that we need to beg them. I have experienced the same several times and I got my ticket resolved by keeping the entire team in cc.. Every time you are dropping mail, every time you should add the upper level. Don't hesitate to do that. Actually they understand the same way

Yeah bro , Today i received a mail for not being available on teams while I'm in office so they I recalled him again then he casually answers I will assign this to some other team
Then It get resolved finally

U can ride the high horse if you like. It's not a practical approach. Do let me know if your escalation to his manager helped in any way

These people have so much attitude you send mail and add upper level. I also faced this earlier but every time do that only

Drop a mail to that person looping his reporting. Wait for 1 day, if you are not getting the response, add global it team in that mail.. Keep dropping the mail daily, until your issue is resolved.
