Trending @Capgemini; Filthy Laptop

My work laptop is fking filthy from the day I got it. It's an HP Elitebook, there is dust sticking to the metal body everywhere. I tried cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and screen cleaner but no result.

Can I go to the IT team and ask for a replacement/cleaning....if not recommende something that will work. It's getting more and more disgusting.

You can definitely ask IT for a cleaning, but they might not replace it just for dust. Try a microfiber cloth with a bit of water, it usually works wonders

I will try to clean it using the method you suggested, If that does not work then I'll ask IT folks

You can go there but you have to wait for 1-2hrs for small tasks go at your own risk
