Trending @Capgemini; Feel like leaving the job and go home.
I am from Kolkata but working in Hyderabad. Joined cg on April, 2023 and working in project from December. This year June I asked my project manager if I could go back to kolkata and report from there. He declined my request and asked to come to office daily. And now my supervisor is criticising me in every sort of way in anything I do, its never upto the mark.
I am feeling very home sick and with this continuing criticism I am getting tired and feel like leaving the job and just go away.
Are there any suggestions on how to transfer my location.
Most of my team mates are from Hyderabad itself but they don't come to office so I become the only one sitting there.
I think you can talk to HR and show some proper health reason or anything important. ( but hr may ask to get supervisor response too). So if you can leave the job and try some other one.. better take a call.
Is it wise to directly go to HR with my issue because my guts say that it might worsen the situation.
Bro.. listen...this is not the only job in life... no one ever has right to disturb your peace of mind... and first thing directly talk to manager and if he is rude again.. there are multiple official ways you can raise a complaint.. (provided if you want to stay in CG ) but best thing will be to leave ... i know how it feels...but nothing should come at a cost of ur self right...
As you have mentioned, you are on project since December. You have just completed 6 months in a project. Now it's time to show your horns. If your manager is rude, show your rudeness as well. Start delaying your work. what he will do, he will ask you to work till late night. Just deny him in a different way. Just play like this for a few months and just chill. He will release you from the project. In sometime you will have a duration of around 8 months, so you will not be asked about your performance, also he can't raise the concerns about your performance. Just try.. Meanwhile you can start looking for new opportunities outside. Don't be upset, tell everyone in the same way as they are treating you..
