Trending @Capgemini; Exposing the Layoff Strategy: How Capgemini Gets Rid of Employees

Warning: This post reveals the tactics used by Capgemini to push employees out the door. Share with caution.

The Strategy:

For new hires: They're pressurized to resign due to alleged lack of project readiness. Meanwhile, they're sent to dummy project interviews to create a paper trail, showcasing "opportunities" that employees can't crack. After 1-2 months, they receive a notice period and salary cutoff.

For old employees: The strategy differs. They're removed from projects, citing client-side budget constraints (especially when the project is from different BUs). Then, they're put on the bench and sent for random project calls, followed by predictable negative feedback.

The cycle repeats: more calls, waiting for client interviews, and eventually, non-tech project calls with relocation requirements. If employees refuse, they're told there's no other option. If they agree, they receive negative feedback again, and suddenly, they're put on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) for not cracking a single interview. 💥 Boom! You're out in 1-2 months.

The irony: Capgemini shifts the blame entirely to employees, hiding their own incompetence and lack of project pipeline. Instead of acknowledging their failures to secure projects, they point fingers at employees, making them scapegoats for Capgemini's shortcomings. This blame game avoids accountability and justifies their layoff strategy.

The sinister motive: For employees approaching the 5-year mark, Capgemini aims to avoid gratuity payouts. They push these employees out before they become eligible, saving themselves the payout. This motive drives their actions, regardless of employee performance or dedication.

The human cost: The constant stress, uncertainty, and pressure take a toll on employees' mental health. The Capgemini's tactics amount to mental harassment, leaving employees drained, demotivated, and struggling to cope. And to add insult to injury, the company then uses their compromised state to justify termination, claiming they're not performing well. The reality is that the Capgemini's actions make it increasingly difficult for employees to secure new opportunities, further entrenching them in a cycle of desperation.

The truth is out: If you're experiencing similar treatment at Capgemini, know that you're not alone. Share your story, support each other, and be aware of the Capgemini's tactics. Your well-being and rights matter.

This is not what is happening in my BU at least. People are taken care of by the managers and Leaders. I agree projects are very less.
