Trending @Capgemini; Exit Experience: When Professional Standards Fall Short

My last working day was yesterday, and I submitted all company assets and access cards the day prior. However, my People Manager is still withholding clearance, stating that my relieving letter will reflect “termination.” because I submitted the assets and the cards prior to my LWD. He further mentioned that, in the worst-case scenario, I would be required to serve an additional notice period of 10 days.

I am aware that no such policies exist, and it appears that this is an act of harassment, similar to incidents that have occurred with other employees in the past. I have already discussed this matter with the exit team and shared the details with them over email, and they have confirmed that they are working on my clearance.

Just want to highlight that over the past two years, I have observed a decline in the professional standards at Capgemini, with recognition often given to individuals engaging in unprofessional conduct, and such actions being overlooked or supported by HR. My experience here has been extremely disappointing, and I consider my departure a positive and necessary step forward.

It's just your people manager and BU being a*ole. I had submitted my assets 10 days prior to my LWD and filled timesheets as on leaves for the remaining 10 days. All my clearance was processed successfully.

The BU HR was not happy with me going early but I had a great manager who fought for me. Initially I asked for an early exit but Cap doesn't provide that so this was the second option.

CG is full of such a chu people who think they are real bosses. Ofc ke bahar kutta bhi unko nahi puchta or ghar me spouse se laat khate hai ofc me sher bante hai

One of my friends got an early release, and he submitted everything on the last day .After a few days ,HR had told him to serve full notice so he filled only the timesheet from home

Bilkul! CG ke HR toh asli “Powerless Power Rangers” hain — ghar pe remote control bhi nahi milta, isliye office me aake logon ki life control karne lagte hain. Kaam ka zero sense, bas apni cheap politics me efficient hai. Employee chhodne ka reason 50% kaam ka load, baaki 50% ye HR ki bakwaas.

Write a mail including all stake holder and also include India CEO, you will see the action then.. I had similar issue in past where they were not encashing my leftover leaves after my resignation.. So after few days I sent an email including my manager, HR and CEO.. Very next day I received call from them and within 3 days I received my Payout.

Hrs are to blame. Buying Oranges hoping to fit with apples (rotten ones) is what they are trained on. Managers are all one special kind of crackheads you will only encounter in Capgemini. 🫡

Exactly. Capgemini HRs have mastered the art of hiring the wrong people and keeping the worst ones. They’re less ‘Human Resources’ and more ‘Human Wreckage Department.
