Trending @Capgemini; Do I need to serve notice period,if I am on the bench as a fresher?

As a fresher , I have joined Capgemini and I am surely not happy after seeing the salary hike and project opportunity in Capgemini for freshers. I joined Capgemini last year in December and I am determined to switch to another company if I get an opportunity within one year.

So do we need to serve the notice period, if we are on the bench??? And further can I switch to another one as 1 year experience?

Maybe you can have discussion with HR so your notice period can be reduced to 1 month in some cases they can give immediate release I have seen this scenario

How will you show another company that you have 1 year experience when you are on bench? As for notice period, you can negotiate with hr and it can be reduced to one month.

Does not experience count even if you are on the bench ??as I heard that counts too. You only can't mention that you have done any project of any client.

I would suggest be in Capgemini for minimum 2 years , try to get project, and if you r getting offer now being on bench...no one can see whether you were on bench or on project. Just do good hands on practice and start interviewing.
