
Trending @Capgemini; Clarification Needed on Bench Policy & Exit Compensation
Hi All,
I’ve been with Capgemini for the past 4 years and recently returned from a 6-month sabbatical. It’s been 4 months since my return, but I’ve not yet been allocated to any project.
Now I’m receiving frequent emails from the organization warning of possible termination if I don’t get allocated within 15 days. I am planning to resign in 4 months anyway, as I intend to pursue my own business and exit the IT career.
Before making any decisions, I’d like to understand:

If Capgemini asks me to resign, will I be eligible for any severance or notice-period salary (e.g., 3 months)?

If I resign myself, will I still be eligible for any notice pay or benefits?

Will I be eligible to receive salary for the remaining 4 months if I stay without allocation?
I’d appreciate any insights from those who have faced similar situations or know about the current HR policy on this.
