I don't think there is any BTO exception for marriage mentioned in the policy but there is an exception of 6 month in case of newborn ( from the day boy/girl is born till 6month)

U can easily get 2 weeks of leaves then what is the use of bto exemption,

Pls get approval from the manager in written mail...even for everything, verbal things don't fly ..mail ur BU HR in copy...people didn't get their variable pay due to BTO..be careful

You can add the docs in the get success in BTO exemption and you will definitely get it approved by your people manager if he/she really want to approve it.There is no manual process now.
